Graduate Education Endorsement Programs
PROGRAMS OFFERED
Linfield offers three Graduate Education Endorsement Programs. These graduate-level programs are designed for licensed teachers desiring add-on endorsements.
- ESOL Endorsement Program
- Special Education Generalist Endorsement Program
- Graduate Add-On Endorsement for Licensed Teachers (Advanced Math, Biology, Chemistry, English Language Arts, Foundational Mathematics (Middle school), Foundational Science (Middle School), Foundational Social Studies (Middle School), Health, Physical Education, Physics, Social Studies, Spanish)
These endorsements may also be available as part of the undergraduate Teacher Education Program.
PROGRAM OFFERINGS
Linfield's Graduate Education Endorsement programs are offered through Online and Continuing Education (OCE).
CALENDAR
Graduate Education Endorsement programs offered on a year-round calendar with 15-week fall and spring semesters that may include 6-8 week modules, a five-week January term, and a 9-week summer term.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Total credits
Program-specific minimum credit requirements:
- ESOL Endorsement Program--14 credits
- SPED Generalist Endorsement Program--20 credits
- Add-On Endorsement for Licensed Teachers--6 to 16 credits
Minimum grades
Graduate Education students must score 83% or higher to pass each course. Any grade below B is considered non-passing at the graduate level for licensure coursework.
Residency
All required program courses must be taken at Linfield University.
