These courses are available to those who have a bachelor’s degree or higher and hold an active Oregon teaching license as a modified program option according to ORS 584.420.0425 to add a K-12 Physical Education endorsement to an existing teaching license.  Due to varying backgrounds of candidates, additional coursework may be required to demonstrate competency in all PE program related licensure standards if determined necessary by the Education Department Chair, Director or Dean in order to confirm endorsement content completion to Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices.

Complete the following requirements:

• Apply research from multiple learning theories in the development of praxis, including classroom community and culturally responsive teaching.
• Demonstrate competence in professional dispositions of the discipline.
• Demonstrate the ability to think critically and write clearly within the discipline.
