Library Instruction to Promote Information Literacy
Library faculty partner with other Linfield faculty in teaching information literacy class sessions within courses such as the first year Inquiry Seminars, the introductory course to majors and senior seminars. Linfield library faculty also offer individual deep research consultations for faculty and students.
Classroom Technology Services (CTS) – McMinnville Campus

Library Liaison Program
UL uses the liaison librarian framework to ensure that all departments receive equitable services. The University Librarian assigns librarians to each school and division. A liaison is a library faculty designated as the formal contact person between the library and a particular academic unit. In keeping with the UL mission, the primary responsibility of a liaison is to meet the unit’s information needs through instruction, collection development, and research assistance to faculty and students.

Linfield Research Institute
Linfield Research Institute (LRI) is a research arm of Linfield University operating on the McMinnville campus to administer faculty research and to conduct research training of Linfield students. It is a nonprofit scientific and educational institution incorporated in the State of Oregon.
Grant Application Support
Faculty members are encouraged to seek funds for instructional improvement, program development, and research. It is important that faculty members seeking such grants coordinate their requests with the relevant dean and the Vice President for University Advancement in order to avoid duplication of effort or conflict in solicitation by different persons.
