Chapter V
The university supports a strong faculty development program, providing a variety of means for faculty to maintain their academic vigor, realize their scholarly and creative goals, and improve their teaching effectiveness. The relevant dean’s office works with the relevant Faculty Development Committee or Promotion and Tenure Committee in administering university development programs, including opportunities for student-faculty collaborative research and creative activity.
The sub-programs described below will be funded within the limits imposed each year by the budget for faculty development as supplemented by any special funds secured.
