Members of the faculty may apply through the relevant dean and the Office of Human Resources for leave without salary. As a general policy, such leaves will be granted at the convenience of the university. The use to which the leave will be put will be considered, and the individual's evaluation file may be consulted in relation to the likelihood that the proposed work will be carried out successfully and to the benefit of the university.
